one fish, two fish

Maddie and Lyndon each got a fish a week ago.
They are obviously so excited about their new pets...

Um, we accidentally killed the fish.
oops.

That is too funny and a little sad.

Katie.......what happened. Did it happen when you changed the water. I am still waiting to hear about Boise Idaho?

oh no. I onced had this Beta fish that stayed with us for like 3 years. It was amazing. I even moved with him all the way from Provo to San Diego. Then one day we found him on the floor. He had jumped out of the bowl (off the counter) and onto the floor. Apparently he was sick of us!

We (well, my mother-in-law, Kris)figured out what our killer was...flouride in the water.

You learn something new everyday...

Surprisingly, the kids haven't even asked about the fish since they mysteryriously went missing. Until they do, we will stick to no pets for now. :)

Yeah....fish don't live very long unless you have a Beta. Ours won't die!

uh, it wasn't the FLOURIDE in the water that killed the fish it was the CHLORIDE...my bad. :)

okay, here we go again...

it wasn't CHLORIDE, it was CHLORINE!!

Whatever it was, it was lethal.

Seriously. Can I mess this up one more time? :)

I LOVE IT!! Mason thinks the best part about having a fish is flushing it down the toilet! That's ok, right?...I mean all drains lead to the ocean, or at least that's what they say on Nemo! :)
